Expert in environmental economics and estimate, landscape restoration designer, international member of A.S.L.A., (American Society of Landscape Architects), U.L.I. (Urban Land Institute), US Green Building Council, Mario is also a doctor in forestry sciences and has several certifications, with many specialties, including bio-engineering and landscape restoration. He's an expert in the environmental field with more than 14 years of experience in Europe, USA and the MENA Region.
Born in Ithaca, NY, he maintains residence in New York.
His work has always been directed towards important and delicate landscapes and components, often in critical conditions, culturally, aesthetically and functionally. Planning, design and the correct maintenance of natural systems has always been a focus in Mario's career.
Mario operates in autonomy and collaboration, being a supporter of the advantages of the multidisciplinary approach, with professional firms, teams, temporary associations of professionals and has lead studies, research projects, plans and official surveys, (more than 200). The expansion of the Internet enabled him to conduct a good portion of his business from abroad. His work, starting with environmental analyses of the site, is a specialized ensemble of various techniques, aerial photo surveys, cartography and remote sensing, digital rendering for integrated jobs, with attention to quality and detail.
He offers his experiences in various fields, ranging from new vineyards and olive groves to quarry restoration, from urban silviculture to trail design to historical garden conservation and recovery of polluted and damaged habitats.
Mario serves and has served, with great commitment and honor, the Italian Magistracy, at various levels, from local Courts up to the Court of Appeals, as an Expert Technical Adviser of the Office. He's a Consultant for the Florentine Chamber of Commerce and the Tuscan Economic Promotion Agency in Italy and USA and is prepared to face a wide range of project requirements, including Real Estate appraisals.
Mario has many positive experiences in direction of works and he's a certified coordinator for "Work Safe" in different environments.
Mario is an excellent cyclist, loves running and kayaking and has always been a Ducati's owner and fan. He proudly supports PETA.
